Since its establishment in 1988 by the consortium of Turkish and Swiss companies, World Trade Wool Foreign Trade Co. Ltd has steadily pressed forward in improving quality with state-of-the-art technology, supporting its leadership position in supplying a variety of raw wools to its clients around the world. These ongoing efforts have earned World Trade Wool trust and respect for the role it has played in the development of Turkey’s foreign trade. At present, World Trade Wool Foreign Trade Co. Ltd is operating in various countries across the world.

The company’s principal activity is to wash and scour raw wools, and sort them for the utilization of carpet and yarn producers. These operations are carried out in 2 scouring plants located in the Uşak region of Anatolia, and in the main factory in the Uşak industrial zone, close to the seaport. The scouring capacity of our plants is 32,000 tons per year.

Kinds of wool offered by World Trade Wool are band knifed, pulled and shorn. Among the variety of wools are English band knifed, English pulled, Irish band knifed, American band knifed, Australian band knifed, Turkish pulled, Turkish shorn and Turkish merinos—either scoured or greasy. World Trade Wool offers a wide selection of wools in each quality in the 22–38 micron range.

World Trade Wool Foreign Trade Co. has provided its services to the following sectors: carpet yarn, worsted yarn, wool tops, futon, phosphorus producers, bath carpet producers, carpet producers, yarn producers, and blanket and sweater producers. Major clients of World Trade Wool Foreign Trade Co. are located in Belgium, Denmark, United Kingdom, Italy and Portugal.
